End Arms Sales to Saudi

Today marks our 19th  Solidarity at a Distance Vigil with Women in Black London.  Some of us will meet at the  Edith Cavell statue between 6 – 7 pm.   Please  join in whatever way you can – lighting a candle at this time, putting the leaflet in your window, posting the leaflet on FB or Twitter…

The theme this week, as with last week,  is Stop Arming Saudi Arabia.

Here you can read some debate in the House of Commons on 13 July.  You may want to write a personal letter to your own MP, asking for questions to be raised with the Secretary of State for Trade.  Please help to make the  connection between violence to women, the impact of war in creating humanitarian disasters and the arms trade.
