Issue: Palestinian prisoners and detainees
By the end of March 2021 the number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees in Israeli prisons and detention centres reached 4,450 including 37 women, 140 children and 440 administrative detainees. Among them are journalists and university students.

Women in Black vigils originated in Jerusalem, Israel in January, 1988. The message “Stop the Occupation” appeared on the image of a hand signalling “stop”. Today, vigils continue in Jerusalem, Gan Shmuel, Haifa and Tel Aviv .
