As in previous years, we joined with other women’s organisations, for a pre-International Women’s Day Vigil. We had good support from partner organisations this evening and gave out plenty of leaflets.
We called for NO TO MALE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN – in the home; – in the community; -in peace and in war.
The Network of Eritrean women brought along flasks of tea and milky cardamon tea and cream crackers to warm us at the end – a very nice gesture which was appreciated.
